Shree College of Technology (SCoT) has started Master in Clinical Pharmacy (M. Pharm) in year 2022. SCoT is only one private college starting M. Pharma under affiliation with Purbanchal University.
Master in Clinical Pharmacy is two years (4 semesters) course specialization in clinical pharmacy. Clinical Pharmacy practice refers to providing safe, effective, appropriate and cost-effective medicines to the patients for their better health care.
Eligibility for M. Pharm Program
- The candidate should pass B. Pharm or equivalent degree recognized by the government of Nepal
- Should be registered in Nepal Pharmacy Council
- Candidate should score a minimum of 50% (Pass Marks) in the Entrance Examinations conducted by Medical Education Commission for being eligible to be on the merit list.

Clinical pharmacists are involved in providing the advanced pharmaceutical care services to the patient and are directly involved in patient care activities. Managing medicines safely, effectively and efficiently is central to the delivery of high-quality care that is focused on the patient. Such graduates will be needed in various kinds of health agencies, communities, hospitals, and institutions.
In general, M.Pharm (Clinical pharmacy) graduates will be able to carry out the responsibilities of various health institutions and hospital as a researcher and care provider. They collaborate with other members of health care service providers or may involve directly in patients care.

Course Structure:
Master of Pharmacy in Clinical Pharmacy course comprises of 2 years (4 semesters).In each of the first two semesters, there are courses work comprising a minimum of 15 weeks of instruction and examination preparation leave of one week. The part of the third semester is allocated for instruction and proposal writing for the research project. The fourth semester is exclusively dedicated to the dissertation. During the span of the study, students are encouraged to present Seminars and write review papers whose marks will be included in internal theory marks. The total credit hour of whole courses is of 62 hours.
